I am planning on getting a dedicated server, what do you recommend?

February 20th, 2012 Leave a comment Go to comments

A common question:

I have a small webdesign studio and I need the server to host my clients. The best deal I’ve found so far is godaddy.com what do you think of that company?

What I need is:
- Linux server with cPanel and unlimited domains
- low cost
- great stability, speed and great service

what do you recommend?

Expert Answer: This is quite a common question. To answer the above question, we suggest you try Hostgator. If you need an “unlimited” hosting plan, we highly recommend you go with Hostgator because they are the best {{cheap cpanel hostund and you can use the Baby plan for almost free for the first month – see the Hostgator coupons (2012) below.

Hostgator is highly recommended by many experienced webmasters because HG:

  • offers {{nounlimiteddwidth,
  • gives unlimited webspace,
  • {{hadoes not suspend accounts without notice like the other cheap web hostsli>
  • gives {{ununlimited-on domains,
  • has Fantastico and QuickInstall to quickly install apps like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento and more,
  • has a very good Site Builder,
  • unlike other one-plan hosting companies, Hostgator shared plans can be upgraded to VPS or one of their cheap dedicated server if and when your business require,
  • and much more for such amazingly a low price.

You can {{gegettgator for almost FREE – you pay only $0.01 (using the coupon below).

Beware of other cheap web hosts. Companies like {{Fatcows not have cPanel as their control panel. cPanel is the leader in web hosting control panels. Do you want everything neatly organized in logical categories? Would a great software installer like Fantastico be a great help for you to install WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, shopping carts, and bulletin boards? cPanel removes the complexity of web hosting. We highly recommend you do not consider a web hosting without it.

Yes, godaddy is very good, their brand is well known and reliable. So I think they can’t offer bad service.

Go with Godaddy, or you could try – http://tinyurl.com/spydh – I’ve heard people saying good things about them. I haven’t bought a dedicated server, but I have some websites on their hosting. Works good.

    Regards

Godaddy is way overpriced for their dedicated servers (and not much bandwidth at all!).

Check out http://www.DependableHost.net click "Hosting" and "Dedicated servers"

Contact me by clicking my name, send me a message, and I’ll get you a discount on the prices!
